I was thinking to try my hand on some matte painting. I’ve been lacking motivation to do stuff on my own so I forced my hand paying some online courses. Because I thought if it messed with my wallet I may get myself off the couch and on the chair… to work on the computer.
I was on a roll. The last five consecutive weeks I’ve been writing a post about Australia when suddenly, no Internet. This is the reason why it took so long to post this one. As I am writing this I still have no Internet connection at home. If you are reading this it probably means I’ve published it from work because the bastards who are supposed to provide us are being a bunch of dumbfucks. Read more “Australia. Final Chapter: Nemo, are you here? (and more)”
When we were planning our trip to Australia we started to write a bucket list of things to do and see down there: visit Sydney, go to Bondi beach, watch some kangaroos, snorkel in the Great Barrier Reef… Then, my brother told us there was a place where crocodiles could jump. We were like…what?! We did some research and in the Adelaide River, Darwin, you can get in a tiny boat and off you go in to the river. This is the boat. Read more “Australia. Chapter V: Am I in Jurassic Park?”
Like a Lannister I always pay my debts. So today, as promised last week, it’s all about Australia’s finest bags, the Kangaroos. There’s no complete Australian trip without seeing some autochthon wildlife. I had no clue there was a place where a bunch of kangaroos were laying around just chilling waiting for some tourist to bring them food. And we were going to be those tourists. Read more “Australia. Chapter IV: The Planet of the Kangaroos”
Since in Sydney we couldn’t find any dangerous animal life we adventured to the nature and we visited the Blue Mountains. The surprise was when we arrived there; the roads were all built of cement with rails. Not what I was expecting but the views were nice. They are called Blue Mountains because when you look at them they have a blue tint all over them, maybe a little exaggerated, but it still nice. Here some photos of the place. Read more “Australia. Chapter III: Roses are red. Mountains are… blue?”
In the previous post, we left our protagonists when they had just landed in Sydney, Australia. In this new entry, we’ll follow them in their battle against jet lag and we’ll see how they explore the city of Sidney. Read more “Australia. Chapter II: Which city rhymes with kidney?”
Each New Year brings along new goals, new challenges and the same old jokes like:
– Hey dear, I haven’t seen you since last year!
– Ha ha ha! You are so funny… let’s not talk again.
Having said that… I haven’t posted on this blog since last year. Read more “Australia. Chapter I: Am I travelling with a criminal?”
2016 is here and I’ll turn 29. Time flies so I have to check some items from my bucket list of things to do before I turn 30. So far I haven’t crossed any, but instead I did something better. I just became a runway model. And it just happens Zoolander 2 is now on theathers… coincidence? I don’t think so! Read more “The day I became a model (Zoolander, watch out!)”
When I started taking photos more frequently, I came across the problem of not having models or how or where to get them for free. Also, since I wasn’t’ that fluent on this portrait world I didn’t want to have someone stand right there awkwardly listening to my jokes while I adjust the lightning and sweat profusely. I had a blog almost written about some fitness stuff but I had to do the pictures to finish the post and I didn’t felt like doing them at the moment. So, what did I do? Left it for later, because sh*t takes time… And this brings us to La Sagrada Famila (seamless transition, I know). Read more “La Sagrada Familia (or sh*t takes time)”
