Australia. Final Chapter: Nemo, are you here? (and more)

I was on a roll. The last five consecutive weeks I’ve been writing a post about Australia when suddenly, no Internet. This is the reason why it took so long to post this one. Australia. Chapter V: Am I in Jurassic Park?

When we were planning our trip to Australia we started to write a bucket list of things to do and see down there: visit Sydney, go to Bondi beach, watch some kangaroos, snorkel in the Great Barrier Reef… Then, my brother told us there was a place where crocodiles could jump. We were like…what?! We did some research and in the Adelaide River, Darwin, you can get in a tiny boat and off you go in to the river. This is the boat. Read more “Australia. Australia. Chapter IV: The Planet of the Kangaroos

Like a Lannister I always pay my debts. So today, as promised last week, it’s all about Australia’s finest bags, the Kangaroos. There’s no complete Australian trip without seeing some autochthon wildlife. I had no clue there was a place where a bunch of kangaroos were laying around just chilling waiting for some tourist to bring them food. And we were going to be those tourists. Read more “Australia. Australia. Chapter III: Roses are red. Mountains are… blue?

Since in Sydney we couldn’t find any dangerous animal life we adventured to the nature and we visited the Blue Mountains. The surprise was when we arrived there; the roads were all built of cement with rails. Not what I was expecting but the views were nice. They are called Blue Mountains because when you look at them they have a blue tint all over them, maybe a little exaggerated, but it still nice. Here some photos of the place. Read more “Australia.
